Josh Merideth of Bella Grace Studios sent us these GORGEOUS film images of the beautiful Natalie Officer. Natalie is a stylist who has recently taken on the renovation of this old farmhouse in Louisville. She’s truly taken a piece of Kentucky history and made into something beautiful to be enjoyed for years to come. Really, her style is so relaxed and natural and we just can’t get enough of the green sofa!
For all of you stuck on the fact that the images are film, Josh said he shot them with a Contax 645. We are really digging his work–it’s all amazing.
Here’s a little bit about Natalie, written by Abby Ott:
As a mother, member of Dixie Design Collective and owner of Natalie O. Design Co., Natalie Officer has her work cut out for her. Crafting is something Natalie has been passionate about since a very young age. As the daughter of a beautician and a welder, she grew up in an environment where working with your hands was a necessity. As a result, she has worked various jobs throughout her career, from visual coordinator at a fashion house to staging homes to interior design to styling for photo shoots. She seeks to tell the stories of people, brands and homes. Natalie finds relationships to be of utmost importance in her work. She says it best in her own words… “Being in tune to the individual or company is essential to creating a space that they will inhabit. By valuing pieces of them in their own space, they begin to appreciate those elements of themselves even more.” She focuses on finding the meaning in possessions, and makes space functional without diminishing charm or soul. She understands what is essential about the things that represent us.

Valentine’s Day is in two days! I know so many of you darlings visit from Grey Likes Weddings, so here’s a bit of inspiration for throwing a perfect little early morning Valentine’s breakfast for your new or soon-to-be husband–complete with printable banners and tags, of course.
The lovely Jacy from Hyssop Design created this perfect lavender and gold printable suite of goodies just for Nesting readers! I love breaking away from the typical red and pink, and of course adding sparkle. That’s a requirement.
Dec08 Grey Likes Artist: Oana Befort 2012
One of my favorite feelings is bringing a gift to a party and having the recipient know immediately that it’s from me just by looking at the wrapping. I’ve been trying to definitively decide what direction to take my Christmas wrapping this year, and I think I’ve found the absoute perfect fix.
These GORGEOUS watercolor Christmas gift tags were created by artist Oana Befort. And get this: She is offering them as a free download on her site! Can you even handle it?
If you’re into something a bit more modern looking, you can still get the geometric watercolored gift tags she created last year.
If you’re really feeling the love for Oana’s gift tags (like me), definitely download the matching wallpaper for your computer. So festive.
Nov06 Besotted Brand Stamp Giveaway 2012
We’ve featured Besotted Brand Stationary here on Nesting in the past. We love it. Clean, simple, classic designs get us every time. Naturally when they create anything monogrammed we get even more giddy. This pretty little monogram stamp is actually one they made for me, with my new last initial that will be changing in a few short months. I’m sure all of the engaged or newlywed gals out there can relate to the excitement of adding the newly minted initials to everything. Hint: These also make killer bridal shower gifts. Um, hello!
So naturally when Tristan from Besotted Brand offered up this giveaway to one luck Nester, we jumped at the chance! This is a BRAND NEW design, never before featured and we’ll be giving away the first one to one of you! How sweet is that?
To enter, just Pin one of the images above and leave the existing description in the box. Then, leave a comment saying you pinned. Next week we’ll pick one of you and send this pretty little thing your way.
May the initials be ever in your favor!
Oct22 Luminous Portrait & Elizabeth Messina 2012
Today we are celebrating the launch of the latest issue of The Knot magazine with the cover shot by our dear friend Elizabeth Messina. We thought we’d spread the love, so we’re featuring a little bit more of Elizabeth Messina over here on the blog today! We adored her launch party of her newest book, The Luminous Portrait, which if I do say so myself, is a spectacular coffee table book. Elizabeth’s artwork is absolutely breathtaking so getting the chance to have a little piece of it in your home is a total delight.
In addition to Elizabeth, the floral designer whose work is on the cover of The Knot magazine also took part in making this launch party gorgeous! Isn’t it lovely how everything connects? We hope you enjoy all of these images shot by Kirsten Ellis.
